How to choose the right tutor for you
Start with your goal. Then compare the details that shape your learning experience.
Compare tutorsExperience that fits your goal
Check the tutor’s qualifications and experience with your subject, curriculum, and level. Be clear whether you need exam preparation, help with a topic, or a new skill.
A lesson format that works for you
Compare online and in-person lessons, then check location and available times. Watch an introduction video, where available, to get a feel for the tutor’s approach.
Price and student feedback
Compare lesson cost and duration, and read available reviews for details about students’ experiences. Ask about a learning plan before sending a booking request.
Ostazi is a tutoring platform for students in Egypt and across the Middle East. Find tutors for 100+ subjects, compare profiles, prices and reviews, and request one-to-one lessons online or in person. Online lessons include a built-in classroom with video, whiteboards and screen sharing.
Choose a tutor, select an available date and time, and send a booking request. Your lesson credits are deducted only when the tutor accepts. If the request is declined or expires without confirmation, no lesson credits are deducted.
Check the verification badge on the tutor’s profile, then review their listed qualifications, experience and student reviews. You can contact the tutor to discuss your subject, curriculum and learning goals before requesting a lesson.
Tutors set their own rates, shown in credits before you book. Recharge through InstaPay or card; a 14% platform fee is added when you recharge and shown before payment. There is no subscription, and credits do not expire.
Explore 100+ subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Arabic, Computer Science and Business, plus preparation for IGCSE, IB, SAT, IELTS and Thanaweya Amma. Tutor availability varies by subject, city and lesson format.
Yes. Starting a new conversation with a tutor costs 5 credits once. Further messages in that conversation are free. Use it to discuss the curriculum, teaching style and availability before requesting a lesson.
You can compare other tutors and request a lesson with someone else. If a tutor declines your booking request, no lesson credits are deducted. For an already confirmed lesson, check the cancellation policy or contact support.
No. Your Ostazi credits do not expire. You can use your remaining balance to request lessons whenever you are ready.
